On June 13, 2026, the world ended. Not with a bang, but with a fever. Lieutenant James Damesworth serves aboard USS West Virginia-an Ohio-class submarine carrying 24 nuclear warheads. Silent. Deadly. Forgotten. But when the ROES virus spreads across the globe in hours, that shield becomes a tomb. ROES attacks the brain, rewiring the infected into shambling, aggressive creatures driven solely to feed. It spreads through the submarine's recycled air like wildfire. Within days, 127 of 155 crew members are dead or turned. The survivors are 23 souls in 560 feet of steel, with 24 missiles in their tubes and no orders from a world that no longer exists. Then a transmission from USS Alabama arrives: "...the CO gave the order... he launched the missiles... all of them..." Now the question hangs over West Virginia: Should they do the same? Supertato, Carrot, Broccoli, her shy and soft-spoken but sweet younger cousin Caulilini, Chilli, Tomato and the three Grape Kids all go on a submarine tour onboard The Fresh Tide, a submarine (repurposed from a toy submarine from the toy aisle) piloted by Captain Celery, who arrives onboard The Fresh Tide at the dock of a colossal fish tank in the supermarket's aquarium aisle as they see many things under the sea and make it to the Octopus's Garden where they meet the captain's old octopus friend Octavius and Broccoli sings the Beatles favorite "Octopus's Garden" for an impromptu submarine concert. But when Evil Pea threatens to cause some bubble trouble as a mermaid, Octavius gets Sweet Pea, also as a mermaid, to help him save the submarine and the heroes, leading to a sheepish apology and a celebratory reprise.

This is a novel version of the game "Oxenfree" created, developed and published by Night School Studio. All rights go to them. I did not create these characters, the story, or the dialogue. I just fell in love with the game and wanted to spread the story in a new way. I recommend playing the game first as it is a much better experience!

My friend and I in high school started emailing each other Freshman year of a story of ourselves, but in the perspective of our characters. They live in a world where anything is possible to do. That being said, they go on these crazy adventures and just live their lives to the fullest. I took our emails and made them into this funny book. Year 0460, in the middle of a vast ocean in between the continents of Magica and Machinaria lies the Kingdom of Ardistea. A neutral economic and technological superpower who is renowned for their integration of magic in their technology due to its location being in the middle of a magic-oriented superpower and a science-oriented superpower. However, just a month before their annual thanksgiving event, the nation is engulfed by a mysterious wall of light. Everything from their mainland to their island territories is swallowed by this event, severing their communication to other countries and sending the whole kingdom in panic. As the wall of light settled, they found themselves in another planet, cut off from their allies. On their north, another country called the Empire of Gra Valkas also appeared out of nowhere. And on the other side of the world, another summoned country arises as a new superpower. Will they bring bad news to the planet? Or will they cooperate for the greater good?

This story takes place in our reality, somewhere in Oceania, where no crisis, war, or something like this is present. Begin of the story: 25.09.1976 2:00 P.M. Four Gentelmen who are rich enough to buy a personal submarine are relaxing on it near some island, which also belongs to one of them. One of them tells about some legend, which says, that there, in this island, is some hole, which leads to another world. Other crew members are sceptical about this legend being real, but argee to try to find it, since they are not busy anyways. And so, the story begins... Some notes for readers: First: English is no my native languange, so do not hesitate to correct me. Also, if you find something not interesting or not described enough, also tell me. But please, bring your ideas too, help me a bit. Second: I don't know if i'll like to write stories, so don't force me to do it. This is my first time writing a story by the way. Third: I BEG you for your feedback! Every content creator will admit that feedback is one of the most, if not the only reason and motivation to continue, especially in the beginning. Otherwise, I will just leave this thing. And yes, I know that it is annoying that every content maker says it, but they say it only because it's the pure truth.
