Hot shot was born to Heatwave and Quickshadow. He was very cute and precious. However Hot shot was born with complex heart defects. Hot shot was going to need a lot of help to stay healthy. His parents love him and want to help him very much. Hot shot as he grows he has many things done to his heart. By the time he is 5 years old he has had 7 cardiac catheterizations, and 4 open heart surgeries. Hot shot has many good friends in the hospital including 4 kids his own age who also have complex heart defects. Hot shot isn't doing well at five years old and his cardiologist says he needs a new heart. So Hot shot needs a heart transplant. He finds out his friends need heart transplants too.
