Burro's tail succulents belong to Honduras and South Mexico. Some of the common names for this succulent are Donkey's Tail, Lamb's Tail, or Horses' Tail. These plants have characteristic bluish-green colored or lime-green colored leaves growing close to trailing stems. The foliage of the burro's tail plant is unique. Sempervivum varieties are also referred to as houseleeks. They are hardy plants with their native habitat usually the wild hills and mountain slopes. At home, they are a good choice for growing in containers as indoor plants.
