Imagine a world that's nothing but desert! A big advantage to setting a sci-fi world in a desert is that it's easy to conceptualize, compared to a geographically and culturally diverse world like Earth. That's not to say you can't include diversity, but DesertPunk strives to make the most of little, with technology tailor-made for such harsh conditions.

Burro's tail succulents belong to Honduras and South Mexico. Some of the common names for this succulent are Donkey's Tail, Lamb's Tail, or Horses' Tail. These plants have characteristic bluish-green colored or lime-green colored leaves growing close to trailing stems. The foliage of the burro's tail plant is unique. It is a very popular choice amongst succulent lovers as trailing plants, the stems cascading or dangling downwards almost 3 ft. in hanging baskets. https://planetdesert.com/blogs/news/sedum-burrito-donkeys-tail

Sempervivum varieties are also referred to as houseleeks. They are hardy plants with their native habitat usually the wild hills and mountain slopes. At home, they are a good choice for growing in containers as indoor plants. They also look impressive in the rock gardens, along cracks in the pavement or dry-stone walls. https://planetdesert.com/blogs/news/best-colorful-sempervivum-for-autumn

  • How to Prune succulents? by planetdesert

      Parts 1
One of the biggest reasons to prune succulents is to prevent the plant from stretching out, which it does when it receives too little light. The plant is beheaded from its top, in this case. After all, pruning succulents may appear intimidating; who like to behead their favorite houseplants with a sharp tool. However, trimming is essential for letting the plant grow and thrive. It's like our hair that needs a regular chop for healthy, shiny growth. The after-growth of pruning results in enhanced looks of your succulent. So, why not? Pruning also helps in the multiplication of the plant. https://planetdesert.com/blogs/news/how-to-prune-succulents

(Little fanfic I made up. Kind of marvel related, but doesn't contain any marvel characters) Claire loves anything to do with plants. She owns about 20 of them (most of them succulents). However, when a mysterious accident at a nearby lab suddenly changes her normal life into a freaky one, will she be able to cope with this tragic experience, or will she have to endure in order to protect the ones she loves? (I do not own Marvel, but I do own these OCs)
