Annie laid there alone, tears threatened to escape, but she covered herself with the warm blanket, and tried to rid herself of the tears. A few tears escaped before she could compose herself. She sighed loudly, and with sadness leaking through. She was being watched. She removed the blanket from her face and laid there again for a bit. She then made herself comfortable, and tried to sleep. She thought of her books and her characters. Almost half of Annie's life, was blank. She couldn't remember things. It saddened her. Her father was abused by an ex, emotionally and physically. Annie was just mentally and emotionally abused. She thinks she may have been physically abused, but she really didn't know. She just a girl, alone, in a world of greedy, selfish, monsters. She doesn't know how to survive. She's alone. At least she feels like she is. Her only escape, is writing. Possible mature themes.
