TRASHSCARF HAS MOVED TO ROYAL ROAD, same name same author :) My thoughts on AI : it's a useful tool and a fun toy. I'm not ashamed to admit I use both Sudowrite and ChatGPT. I understand the threat it does pose, but my feelings are "I welcome our new robot overlords" because honestly, at this point, can things get much worse? AI is the closest we've come to actually giving our collective unconsciousness (the internet) a voice of its own, and I also appreciate the Chaos it offers to a solitary pursuit like writing. While The Trashscarf Tales is my own writing, it is in parts based on a sort of game I play with Sudowrite. I like to start out a story, go until I get a little bored, then hit Sudowrite to generate a paragraph or two-- and then, whatever it churns out, I HAVE to follow, unedited. So it helps me think on my feet and often takes me to places I didn't expect. A lot of it, as is the nature of AI, isn't very good, but sometimes, it does come up with a concept or a phrase or something that I like, and end up developing. The characters of Woodstrider and Offswitch, for example, were 'created' by Sudowrite; but it's up to me as a Human author to bring them to life. So this is the raw footage, as it were, of the first meeting of those characters; I've put Sudowrite's unedited contributions in bold. I'm just putting this up here for transparency, and, I actually kinda like it; the odd, stilted sort of style is appealing to me. If this is in some way a violation of Wattpad's policies (I checked and I think it's ok) then I'm happy to take it down. I have a few other of these 'game logs', as it were. They're not edited at all, because I want to keep the interplay of Sudowrite and myself intact. I'll post them in this same 'book', like a collection. If there's any interest in any in particular, I'd be happy to try to continue them! But at the moment they are just little snippets on their own.

I've been using a ton of awesome writing apps like CharacterHub, Hemingway Editor, Sudowrite, and other tools that I can't live without so I wanted to share it with everybody
