Speaking of metaphors: Ivy is an anti-Mary sue. In her perspective, she lives in a depressing world where everything bad happens to her. But being realistic here, Mary Sues don't exist. Nothing bad can last forever yet nothing good can stay in its realm. So her happiness and sunshine in her dark narrow path is Owen.

I'm rewriting this on my other account (tired_bakuhoe), so please go read the rewritten version because this is terrible. So, I got this idea from a Tiktok user so if you're here from Tiktok then I'm sorry if you're disappointed. If you haven't seen the Tiktok then this story is set in a universe where Bill isn't the bad guy and gets along well with the Pines family.
