This is a story about The Signless (ancestor of Karkat Vantas from Homestuck) and you, the reader. Not all stories come to happy endings.

My biggest failure in life right now is my continued expectation of a clear-cut black and white scientific explanation of my unusual thought processes to be handed to me on a silver platter by a well-spoken Englishman. This is to be immediately followed by delivery of a 'quick fix' pill or piece of advice that will counter all of my mental health shortcomings with absolutely no side effects whatsoever. Yes, I continue to expect such revelations even though I know deep down that such a thing simply does not and cannot exist. We can't learn and grow without those unpleasant experiences being there to teach us, but you can't blame a girl for dreaming, right?

Death is an irreparable loss but one has to overcome it.

This is a collection of poems, diary entries, and short one shots of The Dolorosa, Mindfang, and a bit of Signless(or the Sufferer).

!!!!SLOW UPDATES!!! And suddenly, I felt everything at once. My skin felt the wind. My veins felt the blood. My chest felt my heartbeat. My lungs felt the air. My nose smell the surroundings. My tongue tasted my mouth and lips. And just as I was so let out a scream of joy, my body gave up and I fell to the ground, as my eyes took in the surroundings before everything went pitch black, just as it did when I died. ____________________________________________________________________ Continuation of Dominic Mitchell's BBC Three series 'In The Flesh'. The plot is mostly contained, only changed to fit in new characters and happenings. Protagonists are mostly created by me, apart from Kieren Walker, Amy Dyer and Simon Monroe. This story contains strong language and mature topics. A trigger warning is being put out for people who are sensitive to: Death, blood, selfharm, suicide, mature theme's, depression and mature language. This story is loosely based off In The Flesh, if there are any heavy mistakes, please do point it out to me, apart from that I am happy to reply to questions in the commen sections.

My time in this world was short, but it was filled with a rightous power that will surge through the heart of my world, Alternia, for all time. My people have too long lived under the oppression that is the Blood Castes. I sought to change the way my race saw themselves. We are not the toys of the higher castes, we are the people of Alternia and I have forever changed the way the lowbloods see the Highbloods. This is the tale of my Eternal Suffering, the power behind my words, the lives of those I have effected, and the love we shared for an Alternia, united by Blood, rather than divided by it. * * * *DISCLAIMER* I do not own Homestuck or the characters in this story. That said, I will most likely update this reguarly, it is based off of Marquise Spinneret Mindfang's Journal, although the story will be told through The Signless, as his narrative, rather than as Mindfang's. I will try to keep the cronology as canon as possible, but for the sake of the story, some aspects may be changed. I will try to include as many Ancestor Trolls as possible, but some may not be around cronologically (such as the Summoner), so I may take creative license to add them into the story.

Depression, abuse, rape and heartbreak, the world is a dark place. Not everyone is happy, not everyone is okay. Their are those, who suffer. Things do get better, but only with time. Are you willing to take this journey with me?
