Starting a third year of college was seemingly going to be just like the first two. Late, late nights, stressful classes, friends, parties. Nothing new or exciting, really. The world has become divided since the 21st century. Humans and mythical creatures constantly fight for the title of the 'dominant species'. After many battles, humans have retreated into towns of their own where few creatures join them in harmony. Kōshi Sugawara, a late teen in search of a cure for his younger brother's disease, encounters many obstacles on his quest to the Nozomi forest. His accomplice, Daichi, is making a journey to his hometown after years of being out of contact. They travel together and share memories, tears, and stories on their trip. Slowly, the two notice feelings arising for one another. Each fights for different reasons, but never leave each other's side during their long adventure.

Daichi and Sugawara have a problem with their love towards each other. Sugawara begins to question his feeling towards Daichi, asking for help from his bestfriend Asahi, but some how someone spreads the rumors of Daichi and Suga dating. Will they go along with the rumor or will they deny it?
