Sunset Shimmer, her friends, the Dragon Strike Force and the Wondercolts are going to be competing against the Shadowbolts including the human version of Twilight and Shadow Dragon. Strikespell built his Project: Avenging Ships or Phoenix Cruisers in watching over the world for any invasion or enemy attacks. Dark Curse and his Alliance of Darkness were about to initiate the Mysterious Project END. Now Sunset and her friends must team up with Dragon Strike Force and the Shadowbolts to stop Project END and defeat Dark Curse.

Prowl, a young Autobot Wrecker joined their four teammates, Drift, Whirl, Jetfire and Blaster. Travels to the Human World of Equestria, to find the ruthless Shadowbolts.
