Satoru reassured them that he'd be fine. And that their youngest child could pay off the debt, from getting into a prestigious private high school, by himself. When Satoru constantly bumps into a well-mannered kid from a countryside and ends up becoming roommates, both Satoru and Suguru try to come to agreements. Especially after that awkward exchange at the bar.
