|Modern AU, No Monsters| Mike is what most people would call a 'normal' seventeen year old boy. Mediocre grades, hanging out with his friends more than studying like he should, staying up way too late and staying asleep for too long and ending up being late for class.. etc. But he wasn't normal. Not by a long shot. He has a good life, at least what others see. Two parents, two siblings, lots of friends, a girlfriend. But there are some things people don't notice. People don't care. Even his best friend of twelve years, Will Byers, doesn't notice.
