This is my first time since elementary school writing anything even remotely fantasy/supernatural. This story has been in the works since probably about 2014, though it's been heavily rewritten over and over again (it started as a danisnotonfire fic LMAO DON'T @ ME). This version has been worked on since about late 2017. I drew a lot of inspiration from real-world mythology and folk tales, as well as pop culture references (so let me know if you notice any references it'll be fun!).
