Even in the Armed Detective Agency, Dazai hadn't gotten too attached to anyone, even if he was quite close to Atsushi, who he'd brought into the Agency for reasons only he knew, Kunikida, his current partner, Ranpo and Yosano, both of whom intrigued him (Ranpo because of his intelligence, and Yosano because of her nature).
