"The Unfortunate Truth of the World" is based on the writer's story of depression and being an attempted suicide survivor. Hannah West plays Hadley Winston, a character based on herself. This story deals with bullying, self harm and breakups and how Hannah's character overcomes those obstacles with the help of her friend Rachael. If you might be triggered from your own past with similar topics, this story might not be for you.

When one loses a loved one to suicide, it is a unique sense of loss. All that was once familiar and safe about life turns upside down. Upside down is a personal account of my struggle to make sense of realizing what was, what is, and the challenge of navigating through life as a suicide survivor.
