Make sure you read the first book, Twilight: Mated Worlds, before you read this, events in this story continue straight after the first book. Now the story continues, with the second instalment of the story. With Cassia now in the hands of the Romanians, Liam will do whatever it takes to get her back and by his side once again. The Volturi now travel Europe in search of clues that will lead them to the location of Cassia. Many twists and turns will take place during this new adventure, but everyone must stay strong. What happens when the Volturi reach France, how far will Liam go in the search to find his imprint and love of his life, and what will the Romanians do now that the Princess of the Volturi is within their clutches. All that to come and more. As always some characters do not belong to me but in this story all events plot points and main characters do.

A new English translation of Sulpicia's extant works that tries to imagine how the 1st century BCE Roman pop princess might write if she were to pen her work in the 21st century CE. In my interpretation, Sulpicia 1 is a poem about sexual awakening. It is a young woman playing with the societal norms for her gender and also the genre in which she writes (Latin love elegy). The decision to translate 'attulit' as rescued is inspired by Merriam (2006: 13) who considers the literary allusions Sulpicia makes to Aphrodite saving Paris and Aeneas from the battlefield in Homer (Il. 3.380-382; 5.311-315).

Vampiric uprisings begin to push The Volturi into many difficult positions. While Aro and his coven Brothers seem to manage it and regain control, there are many who question their leadership. Those who remember the banshee hybrid, Cera, whom Aro and his coven seemed to overlook. Of course, it would seem that way to anyone who did not know the correct facts. But now, six months after the incident of meeting one of the most powerful gifted creatures he's ever come across, Aro is beginning to wonder if he made the correct choice. With so many covens around the world beginning to gain doubts in their minds of The Volturi's effectiveness, Aro and his coven will have to make a life changing choice. Rules become more strict, more examples are made to show that Aro is having taking no nonsense from anyone but Sulpicia begins to see a completely different side to him that even causes her to feel more concerned than she had in the previous year. A new side of her begins to show because of it and it seems as though things begin to crumble apart before her very eyes. As a few vampires travel to Forks in hoping to gain the Wolves and many Hybrids on their sides for their cases against The Volturi, Cera begins to realize that it is not only her that their focus has been pushed upon, but also to all of the known Hybrids like her. But Aro begins to over step boundaries that not even Sulpicia herself had seen coming. Some of which results in shocking deaths and demands of anyone he sees fit. __________________________________________________________

After Edward leaves Bella, she's lost. Hanging only by a thread of hope in the form of the Volturi, she heads to Volterra, Italy with her death and maybe her rebirth in mind. There, three brothers will start to cultivate and care for her heart, and she gains a new collection of vampires as family. A probably goodbye to the Cullens, the first family she'd loved and tried to hold onto, and a new turn for Bella as she realizes all may not be lost and she can still have a place in this world. All she needs is to ride the hurdles and try to find a way to move on from the past clinging onto her. A Twilight fanfiction, AU of New Moon and onwards.
