Kestrel Stibbons is part of an extinct race and trying to keep her head down and work her way up through Starfleet . . . but being friends with Jim Kirk means life is never easy, or boring . . . especially when a futuristic Romulan ship declares war . . . (This is a Star Trek fanfiction based in the first film directed by J.J. Abrams. I will hopefully do an 'Into Darkness' fanfic eventually but I though it best to begin at the beginning. Something is wrong aboard the USS Enterprise. No alarms sound. No system fails. Yet after the arrival of a harmless mammal, the crew begin to change in ways no scanner can explain. Distance vanishes. Restraint weakens. Words long withheld rise too easily to the surface. Feelings carefully contained for months-or years-become harder to deny. As bonds strain, loyalties shift, and old certainties begin to fracture, McCoy is forced to confront a truth of his own. Spock and Commander Lancaster can no longer pretend their connection is merely professional. And once honesty has crossed the line into speech, nothing aboard the Enterprise returns unchanged.

AU: After the events of Star Trek: Into Darkness, Spock confronts Khan when he awakes from his coma, not long after Kirk. Khan is still devastated by the 'death' of his crew, but Spock tells him the truth, and he begins to hope. Spock agrees to fight for Khan when he is placed on trial, along with Kirk and McCoy. A new Ensign is assigned to the U.S.S Enterprise. She does her job and follows the rules, so nobody thinks twice of her. That is until someone from her past recognizes her and everything that she tried to keep secret comes out into the open. Including her knowledge of the wizarding world and her date of birth, which is 1924. *I don't own anything other than my character Alice Barthow. I'm making this because I'm bored and I just thought of it. Expect spelling and grammar mistakes.*

He didn't know who I was until they caught me, stealing. They grabbed me, told me I couldn't talk. Then, they dragged me all the way to some sort of jail cell and threw me in it, then they slammed the door and punched in a code that activated a lock. I waited what felt like years till he arrived with a doctor and a guy that looked like an elf. I sat their in the cell, on a bench that was connected to the wall. I stared at the floor until the doctor cleared his throat. I looked up at the doctor. My left eye was swollen and purple. I can't remember anything, all I remember was, I was in this building next to a crystal, passed out, and these men were grabbing me, and they put me In this cell. I couldn't hear what the doctor was saying, my vision was going black, but before I passed out, I saw him standing there. He looked older than me, he had brown hair, and his eyes were so blue! He looked familiar to me. Then it hit me, his name was Kirk, or was it Jim? But all I could get out of my mouth before I passed out was, "help". ⭐️ BOOK 1 OF 2 ⭐️ __________________________________ (This is a mix with Star Trek into Darkness, and Star Trek Beyond. Some of the parts are from one of those movies, some are made up by me.) (Some parts from those movies are skipped in this book. Also, this book has "into darkness" in the future if Khan was to escape and bring havoc again. If that makes any sense ?)
