A young man by the name of (Y/N) xaio long lived his first few years of life with a loving family and he always had a dream of becoming a huntsman. He was the son of Tai xaio long and Raven Branwen. his first few years of happiness would come to an end with his 5th birthday when his father Tai began to beat him and convinced the rest of the family that he was a mistake. his only 2 beacons of hope were his half sister Ruby Rose and the family pet Zewi. They are what kept his dream alive for years after the abuse started. how will he his story go however when he has had enough and runs away?

Being reborn into a world, where people harness the power of their souls to fight monstrous creatures was surprising. But, learning that you're only a pawn in a several millennia old chess game between a Witch and Wizard was too much. But if death didn't stop you, why let this?

This is the first story I wrote that I was actually serious about. I wrote this about two or three years ago, I was going to upload it to a different fanfic website, but unfortunately I had zero confidence at the time and never actually uploaded it. Legends are true; The Traveler once helped humanity against the grimm before vanishing for thousands of years however now strange monsters are appearing all over Remnant along with strangers who fight against them.
