Izzy Jones, a talented young writer, discovers she's tied with a mysterious boy in a prestigious book competition. She is invited to spend her entire summer in a small town on the west coast, studying at a summer school. The stay at the campus is meant to inspire the two to write a short book and win the judges over. Isaac Gray, her rival, is invited to spend his summer in the same place. His father is not delighted with the situation, so he pushes him to do his best and win. As Izzy delves into her writing, she can't help but be drawn to Isaac, and what starts as jealousy transforms into an irresistible curiosity. Will Isaac's determination to win soften throughout the stay? Will the two find more than just literary success?

We go to the same school, yet we never really exchanged more than two words... Not that I hate him, we are just from different friend groups and don't have any classes together. Yet we were both sent to a Summer studying prgram and that's when I learned how fascinating this guy was! And he might got to think the same way about me... Hey so it's been a while since I've posted anything, and while my love for writing sure as hell has not faded, I can get distracted easily. So I've decided to write some short stories in my free time. I'll compile them into a single story but if you read them, then I would love some constructive criticism (I've got emotions of steel). I have a summer project for school I need to work on so comments would really help me improve my pieces.
