According to the myth of the red string, the gods, out of boredom, decided to tie an invisible red string around the pinky fingers of the two lovers who are destined for each other. The red thread of fate, as some calls it, will stretch but can never be broken. No matter how far the two unbeknownst lovers drift apart, they would one day find their way back to each other. What if the gods decided to trick the two lovers? Will they lose hope and despise the trickster gods? Will they still hope for the best? But the real question is... with all the chaos, will they ever find each other?

The first time he saw her she was working at the convenience store and he was drunk out of his mind, only there to buy more beer. Jung Hee Jae works the late shift at the convenience store, working to support her 'lavish lifestyle' as a 24 year old. Yoon Do Woon has been secretly crushing on the cute Cheongdam-dong convenience store worker for a few months now but can't seem to muster up the courage to approach her. Each time an opportunity arises, he chickens out and can only barely spit out a small thankyou as she rings up his shopping.
