Sunk Stories

Devyn Faye is ecstatic when her parents announce their family will be going to tropical countries and waters to study new animals for her soon-to-be college major: Marine Biology. Going on one of the biggest cruise ships in the world, Poseidon's Sail, is just a plus. Practically Devyn's dream come true. And then there's Leo. Funny, sweet, sarcastic, and annoying Leo. Will what was supposed to be the summer of their lives turn out to be a wreck? "The ship rocked violently in the storm as frantic mothers hurried their families to life boats. Oh my god. 'Leo,' I shivered, 'all the life boats are taken.' "

A short story about a girl in a sinking ship. This is my first time writing in English, so feel free to point out my mistakes if I've made some.

Problems can't be solved by drowning it with alcohol. You can run from it, but someday it will catch up with you again. You can't just throw things that are important to you and expect it will never bother you again. No matter how much you hate the sea throwing waves at you, it won't stop. Sometimes going with the flow is much more better than resisting it. (This is my first time writing my own story. Maybe the first and last.)
