Basil, a boy who lives a lonely life trying to suppress a dark secret. when he sleeps he travels to a surreal place where he does not remember what ails him. Here you will see his life both in real life and in dreams

Sunny will never forget Basil's smile. Two years after moving away, Sunny has saved up enough money from his part time job to visit his childhood town during the summer. Having realized that Basil may be more than just his friend, he resolves to help Basil through their shared trauma and to unravel the feelings they have for each other. But when he learns that some scars may be too deep to heal, Sunny must confront a new Something that has Basil trapped inside its dark web. It'll be worth it just to see Basil's smile again.

You all know the story of Sunny and what happened to his sister, but you may not know what has been going through the mind of one flower boy. It's been a year since Sunny moved to the city. He kept in touch with all of his friends, but one horrible phone call changes everything. What happens if Sunny returned to his home town to find one of his friends has been drowning in a pit of darkness and despair? Well, let's find out. This is a headcanon story of what happens next in Omori, and headcanons of Basil's backstory since we don't know much about it. I am not the owner of the game Omori, for the owner is OmOCat. There are going to be some small spoilers to the game, so please be warned.

"G-Got a lotta nerve, talkin' to ME like this!" Kim inched backwards, against the wall of the candy store. Her glasses nearly slid down her nose, with how sweaty her face was. Sure. It was just Aubrey right in front of her. Just Aubrey.....who was staring her down with a smirk, her dark eyes lit up with slight mischief. There was no getting out of this....was there? That goddammed Miss Candice would fucking kill her! There wasn't- "Hmm? Scared, aren't ya?" Aubrey lazily stared at the nails of her hands, though they didn't have freshly painted nail polish on them as Kim had expected. "You know...a certain someone's birthday's coming up. They really like flowers!" The candy lover gulped, Aubrey's presence seeming much more imposing despite both of them being about the same height. "Whaddaya say? You help me give 'em a lil' something, and Miss Candice won't bite your ear off!" What the hell?! - Mari Lives, and Aubrey just met the gang six months ago. Also a Modern-Day AU, so they have social media!

This is a Sunflower (Basil × Sunny) centric Omori fanfiction that begins right after their big fight before Sunny is supposed to move away. In a desperate attempt to keep Sunny with him, they run from town, leaving behind almost everything and everyone they hold dear. I'm not exactly the most talented writer, so keep that in mind :/ either way, I hope you enjoy it!!

Basil woke up, ready to finally confess the truth to his friends, but found that Sunny had beaten him to the punch. He hoped that they could finally be happy again, at which point Sunny dropped off the face of the earth and left Basil to handle the fallout and future. A post-canon Basil-centric Sunflower fic meant to explore Basil's dynamic with the other characters, how he handles his own many, many issues, and, upon Sunny's return, how they sort out their collective issues.

Sunny waits for Basil to wake up inside the hospital after all his friends have left, his heart full of unresolved feelings for the boy who held his hand during his darkest moment and promised him that everything is going to be okay. Then he receives a call from his mom. She's taking Basil to live with her at their new home in the city. Sunny isn't sure how to feel about his best friend coming to live with him, but maybe it's better than being alone again.
