(hey I literally wrote this in one night on notes and I thought I should publish it cause I love jegulus wolf start and rosekiller dorlene) A day before Regulus has to get the dark mark he cries in his room hoping someone would come to save him, he missed his brother, his friends, his James mean while all of them are plotting against Voldemort to take him down and get their Reggie back as soon as possible Regulus and James had started talking for a few weeks before James dragged Regulus over to Sirius and had them talk it out with of course Remus there to make sure everything is under control after a while Regulus and his friends joined the marauders as one group and they all became friends

"If I was dating Regulus, I would have noticed." A pause. His friends all stare at him with various levels of disbelief. Suddenly, he feels very stupid. "Are you sure?" Remus asks. Regulus and James are a couple. James is the last person to realise this. (NOT MY STORY!) ALL CREDITS GOES TO alarainai ON A03!!

He sighed as he looked up at James, even though he was drunk he was done with that joke, it was overused and not funny. Regulus shook his head at James as James burst out laughing. "No, stop with that." He said as he slapped James lightly on his cheek. James grinned at him. "But, I'm serious Jamie, I like you." "Oh, like friends?" James questioned. "No." Regulus pulled away from James. "Oh." Came the reply from James. Honestly, James hadn't expected that. Oh, and, he really, cannot stand James Potter. James Potter is an awfully good actor. He plays his many roles and masks well. But then, who is he really? Without the lies and the pretending? And would any of his friends really be his friends without it? Or James has always pretended to be someone he's not, and Regulus is determined to crack open his many masks, simply to watch him fall apart. This story deals with some bad mental health, past trauma from Regulus and Sirius, and heavy topics, so please be careful when reading, look after yourselves <3 Note: all characters and settings belong to their respective authors, and if there's any overlap with the way I have portrayed them, it's purely incidental.

Regulus is consumed by bitterness and pain after his brother Sirius ran away from home, and he blames James Potter for taking him away. Seeking revenge, he plots to take James away from Sirius. But what starts as a means of vengeance quickly turns into a tumultuous affair, and Regulus finds himself falling in love. Passion and desire turn into feelings and the wish to do and be better for James. But, as he navigates his complex feelings for James, a dark wizard rises to power, seeking to gain followers among the Hogwarts students. Trapped between duty and love, Regulus is forced to confront his fears, as he tries to protect those he cares about.
