James never thought anything could happen to him. He always believed the conflict in the wizarding world would soon end. He never imagined he'd have to go on prefect patrols with Sirius's little brother. He never thought anyone could hate him so intensely. And he never thought he could hate someone just as much. That he could even feel so much for someone. But he was wrong. Something could happen to him, too. In fact, the conflict would very soon escalate into war. Unfortunately, he also became a prefect. And indeed, someone could hate him that much. And he is perfectly capable of hating someone just as much. He is also capable of feeling so much for someone. He never expected that the person he was supposed to avoid would be impossible to ignore.

He sighed as he looked up at James, even though he was drunk he was done with that joke, it was overused and not funny. Regulus shook his head at James as James burst out laughing. "No, stop with that." He said as he slapped James lightly on his cheek. James grinned at him. "But, I'm serious Jamie, I like you." "Oh, like friends?" James questioned. "No." Regulus pulled away from James. "Oh." Came the reply from James. Honestly, James hadn't expected that. Regulus was too drunk to care about what he said at that moment, but he knew he would regret it as soon as he woke up tomorrow. "Reg, I don't like you like that..." Oh Oh.
