It's been four months since MK was blasted away, and Ne Zha has yet to find him. Mei and Red Son set off on their own to find him, soon followed by Pigsy, Tang, and Ne Zha. After they accidentally meet up, they find information about MK from a... less than reputable source and find themselves captured by a dangerous tribe of primitive warriors. Meanwhile, MK - still amnesiac and known as Yíshī de - is starting to get restless in the little village. He says goodbye to the good family that let him stay with them and promises to never forget them as he sets off to find his memories again. In the Celestial Realm, Monkey King - against the wishes of Ne Zha and Li Jing - manages to get out of bed and get himself to the mortal plane so he can find MK himself.
