Melissa is very quiet, down to earth person who doesn't talk about her self. her life has changed in the last couple of years and particularly the last couple of months. her life changes when someone come into her life and helps her get through a difficult time when she doesn't have the main two people to help her through it. her parents.

At first, Kara and Lena both keep their feelings hidden from each other, but it doesn't last long. Falling would be easy, but staying together would be difficult.

After Kara gets kidnapped by an alien of a species no one has ever heard of, she becomes a whole different person. She never eats, she's barely sleeps, her smile is now upside-down. The once bubbly, happy soul she was is now replaced with a broken, dull soul. Alex wants to see her little sister full of life again so she makes it her number one priority to bring happiness and life back to Kara. Having to take care of her son and way too much responsibilities, Kara will have to deal with a normal and human life on Earth, besides trying to forget the people she left behind; the world she left behind. All that while she deals with her new superpowers...
