They stepped up to become heroes throughout the city as crime rates continued to plague Ninjago, all the while attending their average high school classes. Someone is hunting the heroes, forcing the five of them to team up for the first time to figure out why. During their journey, they find a small child who appears to be some sort of Oni-human hybrid, who is on the run from bad people looking to experiment on him. Jay has to balance homework, keeping the city safe, figuring out who is hunting them, and watching over this random kid Kai brought home, all while coming to terms with the fact that Cole, the star football player, is actually kind of cute... Kiyotaka, or Moral if you go by his hero name, is a well known superhero in Japan with "partner in justice" (yk, instead of crime), Alter Ego. The duo juggles both the life of a hero and average adult life at the same time. And Mondo Owada just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
