I was captured from a military facility and brought to a "circus" of sorts. At least, that's what the man who brought me here said. He said that I was special. Not like the others who also participated in the circus. "Circus of the Extraordinary", the man said it was called. He told me to call him the Ringleader, and nothing else. (I'm extremely sorry if the description is horrible XD I don't know how to write desriptions)

Deimos is a planet revolving around a red sun, the Miracle Star. During the 20th century, Deimos came to a complete stop as its axis came to a standstill at a peculiar degree. It left the western hemisphere of the planet to bask in the heat of the Miracle Star while the eastern hemisphere experienced an ice age. The remaining survivors abandoned altogether the ice lands and scorching deserts. They sought refuge in lands where the heat and the cold meet; thus six regions called Seiphers were created. Of the many Seiphers, I belong to the kingdom of Aurelia. My name is Lexius Gideon Aurelia. My father is the King and my mother the Empress. Many would think I lead a extravagant and luxurious lifestyle as a young prince of my Seipher but at the tender age of five, I learned from experience the meaning of hope, fear, helplessness, struggle, life and death. Fate decreed I would not have an easy and carefree childhood, not even an ordinary life. My birth had fallen under a cursed star. One that shouldered the lives of many. This is my story. And it all began when pieces of Heaven descended...

Welcome to the future, a future you probably weren't expecting, or at least the U.S. government didn't. In the future, there came a time when people began to find that they could do incredible things. These people were hunted fiercely by the government and shipped to an abandoned U.S. Armed Forces base on the island broken off of California by the San-Andreas fault. Left behind due to constant earthquakes, the base was converted into a lab. The people sent to the lab were tortured, and lost hope. But even though their situation seemed bleak, one man challenged the others to fight back. He gained 11 followers, and they alone took back their freedom. Today the island is the Republic of New California, a safe haven for everyone with a superpower. We honor the original revolutionaries by having a select few individuals train to inherit one of their names. I am one of these people, but I don't have a power.

Here at the Gifted Academy, you'll meet the extraordinary Gifted's and learn all their secrets. Which is, to be put bluntly, that they have inhuman powers. Despite the laser-vision and cat-people though, it's really just another normal school, with romance, drama, fan girls, fan boys. Well... depending on how you would define a normal school.

Every single one of these teens is terrified, and their situation continues to get worse and worse. Getting stabbed with syringes, waking up once again in the center of Henderson, Nevada with crazy abilities, meeting some weirdo who won't tell them what her power is, and rarely getting along, just to name a few. The only thing they agree on is the fact that they'd like to see their families and friends before they die. And as possible as that seemed in the first few hours of being confined in their prison, the idea is slipping further and further away. Scared, hungry, and burning up in the desert sun, will these kids be able to make it through a madman's experiment and see their loved ones again? Or will they deal with loss after crushing loss, destined to die at the age of fifteen? *^* Updates will arrive as frequently as possible, but I wouldn't expect them much as midterm season has begun. No promises on times, unfortunately; they'll be pretty sporadic.
