clark was just trying to work, when an emergency com link from diana sends him flying off to Gotham City at an ungodly hour of the morning. torn between offering help that batman definitely won't want, and allowing him to be mutilated by his worst enemy, clark hesitated. now, he blames himself for the harm that has come to bruce wayne. it's up to him to amend his past mistakes... and maybe put some past bad blood behind him. perhaps bruce can do the same

roughly 2 weeks after a particularly rough battle (that caused some not so good injuries among the members) the Justice League all mutually agreed to meet up at a bar, out of costume of course. It wasn't a big deal, except the fact that they were finally going to get to know who it was under Batman's cowl. Hal gets a little impatient and starts to think Batman wasn't going to show up, even after he promised Clark he would. But after all, Hal's never liked Batman, maybe this was finally his reason not to. Everyone except Batman and Oliver are already there and sipping their drinks. This genuinely surprised Hal a bit, Batman always rides him about not being late yet he's the last one to arrive. Hal forgets he was complaining about Batman to himself when Oliver enters the bar with none other than Hal's celebrity crush, Bruce Wayne.
