During the events of Super Mario Galaxy, Mario stumbles across Rosalina reading a story to the Lumas she calls her family. Mario stays for the story, but the more chapters she finishes, the more feelings he feels. Hurt. Hope. Sadness. Happiness. etc.

"I don't understand..." (Y/N) said to Rosalina as she glanced at the injured lumas. She got up to go get the first aid kit. "Dear sister, there is a lot of things even I don't understand." Rosalina replied, helping one of the injured lumas up as it chirped a thank you. She then turned to look at her sister. "But what I do know is that today is the day that Observatory floats over the Mushroom Kingdom to watch the Star Festival. Nothing can go wrong." (Y/N) sighed, even after her sister tried to reassure her that nothing could go wrong she still felt that something was a bit off. ~ Today is the day that the Star Festival is held and (Y/N) is excited. Her sister is too, other than them the whole Mushroom Kingdom is excited. But when (Y/N) finds some lumas injured she gets a bad feeling. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to host this festival? One of them left her homeworld to the Cosmos out of curiosity, the other in where he left his realm out of being captured through experimenting on himself. One where she became a mother of stars by her own will, the other where he was forced and corrupted in becoming a destroyer by another deity. One where she had been given the simple, happy life of being the adoptive mother to the stars, the other who sadly struggles to be a father to his spawns in the middle of a very harsh catastrophe. One where she continues to live, even where she has past the limit of her age, and remained youthful, and the other where he had been cursed with immortality, and he had died once, before having gained immense power in return. So what happens, when one of them simply has enough, and takes himself, and his children to the void, only to end up where the mother of stars resides in, and more importantly of all, how will she help the destroyer and his children with the suffering that they had went through for a very long time?
