Lysera was born on October 15th beneath a pale and unwelcoming sky, carrying within her a trait that set her apart from every other child. From the moment she could understand words, she was haunted by voices that were not her own - the whispered death wishes of strangers, murmurs of despair and longing for an end that only she could hear. She was also born with a book and a quill that drifted beside her wherever she went, unseen by others yet tangible to her touch, as though bound to her very existence. To the world, she was simply a quiet girl with distant eyes, but in truth, every day was a battle to silence the endless stream of sorrow echoing inside her head.
As Lysera grows, her gift - or curse - becomes heavier to bear. The gods themselves had marked her as something dangerous, though she never asked for such a fate. Through her journey, she must learn whether this ability will destroy her from within or lead her toward a greater purpose hidden beyond the veil of suffering. Her path is one of loneliness, resilience, and the search for meaning in a life where death is never silent.
