But that doesn't mean he didn't try to get his brother back afterward. In these short stories, we see Dean's journey to retrace his and his brother's steps within the last year. His hopes? To find something, anything to get his brother back from the pit. However, his searching leads to paths he isn't prepared for, and old friends seem to have gone missing without a trace. We know how this ends. But we didn't see the struggle, nor many eyes watching the desperate hero attempt the impossible.
