A young girl named Laila lives in small town hidden from Galeem. She is a Smash fan and adores the fighters as heroes and idols and someday she'll be a fighter just like them. But when a certain pink blob named Kirby falls out of the sky and bumps into her, he is claimed to be the last survivor from the battle of Galeem. So Laila, Kirby, and their friends will go on an adventure to rescue the other fighters and defeat Galeem and Dharkon while meeting new friends along the way. (includes dlc characters)

"Pathogen X - Reflections of the World in Dark" is my first fanfic which is based on the new Smash Bros horror AU "World in Dark" and heavily inspired by "Alien Shooter" series and "Zombie Shooter". The story is centred around a bunch of non-Smash characters who are the survivors of the unknown tentacle infection. The story is shaped by the emotions of the characters present. WARNING: This project is a fan-made one and is not affiliated with the original source material. This story isn't canonically connected with 'World in Dark', even if it is accurate to the latter. Once again, I am not affiliated with the creator of 'World in Dark' or its project. Beware about that.

Listen we all know the idea of Smash Bros and its characters, but what if we did stories about them? ... Yeah, I know this has probably been done before but for one, this one ain't self insert and two well, this is an idea I've had in my head for a while and now I finally feel like sharing! Some quick rules before reading: 1. This is all done for fun, so go into it with that mindset. 2. I do not own any of these characters obviously. All of them belong to their respective owners, rather it be Nintendo, Microsoft or any other company in this game. 3. This was started after Steve's reveal but I'm going to start from the beginning of Smash Ultimate and go from there. 4. Kirby speaks with a British accent. Yes, I'm aware of the abridged series, but I thought of the idea BEFORE I saw it, okay? Okay. 5. If anyone seems out of character to you, sorry. But I've done tons of research on almost every character in the game to make sure this isn't the case, but if there's so little to go off of there will be some creative interpretation. So if my interpretation doesn't line up with yours exactly sorry, but that's just how I would write them. 6. This series has NO SET SCHEDULE. The chapters will be done when they are done and will be published when they are done. 7. SPOILERS FOR GAMES INCLUDED ABOUND! If you have a problem with that, there's your warning. If you have played these games or otherwise don't care at all, stick around. 8. Wow this is a lot of rules? Last two real quick. The world is faced with a terrible threat. The villains have teamed up in an attempt to DESTROY ALL HEROES. Lives will be at stake. The Heroes are on they're final stock if they lose it it'll be GAMEOVER. Deep inside subspace rests Tabuu the ruler of this dimension. Angered by his last failure in attempt to rule all of the world during the events of the Subspace Emissary hatches another plan to kill all heroes, but this time he plans on using the heroes of this world to help destroy it, but first he realizes he needs people to run his various armies these baddies are Bowser, Bowser Jr., Piranha Plant, Ganondorf, Sephiroth, Wolf, King K. Rool, Ridley, Dark Samus, Dark Pit, & Wario with these villains in hand he has the power of there armies and his combined giving him the strength to fight off these so called heroes. His first step in his plan is to launch a major attack on the Earth and through space all at the same time to distract the heroes so that he can send his villains to swoop and finally kill those so called heroes so he can enter there reality to take over.
