Case 88, a case that involves humans that have involved (Hybirds). In 1996 a group of babies have been given an injection that  can create abilities to the host of the body. The case was created for the reasons to protect the United States in case of war. 188 babies were injected that year, only few are allowed to keep the abilities and protect the US.  In 2015 a treat causes to activate the first group to be tested. The book covers a two sided story. The story out of the creator of case 88, the government  and the hybrids side of the story.

Cancer: A malignant and invasive growth or tumor caused by abnormal cell masses, tending to recur after excision and to metastasize to other sites That's the definition of cancer. 1.2 million Americans are diagnosed with it every year. Annually, 500,000 people in the United States... they die from it. And 13% of people that die every year die from cancer. Cancer has a track record that goes on longer than possibly imaginable, but it's still here today and there's still no definite cure for it. So when a loved one falls into its clutches, not much good comes out of it. It ruins lives. It puts out love like rain puts out a fire. And it doesn't stop to realize the damage its doing. Those are the things that I'd gathered about the disease that took his life. Those are also the things I hated to think about. They just made me feel emptier inside than I already was. I knew I'd probably never get over him. I knew that I wasn't allowed to anyways. I made a promise. .....But could I keep it?

Her name is Ariana Foster, she's 16 years old and just lost her parents by a car accident. She moved to Virginia to live with her auntie (Felisa) shes going to meet someone that changed her live. She loves basketball, Volleyball and all those kinds of sports. She's really playful, funny, weird and all kins of those stuff.

Some people think that a bird and a human, a hybrid, are not real But those people are wrong. It's about a group of teenagers that are half bird half human and they got kidnapped when they were little. They were born like this but humans thought they were experimented on to be half bird, so the humans who kidnapped them put implants in their wrists to make them forget everything except their names and friends. making them believe they were "humans".
