I don't cry. I don't yell. My face stays blank, empty. But I'm not empty. I feel. I feel everything. But I can't show it. It's not something that I've chose or want- I just... can't. Never have been able to. I was thrown into a summer camp. Mom said it would be good for me. But I knew the truth- she's too busy to deal with me, too tired to love me. When I got there, I was immediately labeled. Unusual. Cold. Intimidating. I expected it. That's always been my titles. And maybe... that's all I'll ever be. --------------- This is my first story so be patient please! 😁

CURRENTLY EDITING When I was little, I thought my life was perfect. The Servants used to tell little children that we lived in a perfect world and I, of course, believed them. Every day I was allowed to play with my friends, climb the trees, and have fun. Yet, they ensured the word 'school' was unknown to us, thus restricting us from ever learning about our true heritage. We never had the privilege of holding real paper, now deemed a long lost artifact by most. Yes, I thought my life was perfect, but at least now, I know better... ~~~ In the beginning everything was good, but with the rise of population, pollution, and housing problems, disaster struck. People started looking for possible solutions for the future, and so, humanity made a change to their way of living. However, this change had dire consequences... The Servants now rule the people, and society as we know it, crumbles down underneath it. Soon, when the rebellion rises, fourteen-year-old April will get caught in the middle of a crossfire Will she find the answers she's looking for, or will she reveal secrets that might have been better left unsolved?

"Please help me." At the echo of her words, the portal shot open. Cyan felt the cold shock hit her wet face and blow her hair to the wall behind her, inching back as a strong stormy wind blew from the strange portal. She could feel rain droplets hit her face, and tiny, amazingly saturated green leaves shot through the water and into her room. Then something poked through the center. She jumped back, pinning herself to the wall behind her bed, and stared, dumbfounded at the hand, obviously a man's hand. The hands cupped her cheeks, stopping as they brushed by Cyan's tears. Cyan blushed, and tried to pull away. They gripped her face, and Cyan froze as they wiped away the wet trails. Flustered at all the attention, even if it was just a dream, she cried harder. The hands had stopped. Suddenly, the left hand gripped hers, squeezing so hard Cyan flinched. Both grasped, Cyan being jerked to the portal. She twisted around frantically, clutching her bed as the arms released her arm and grasped her legs. She whimpered in fear as her legs were pulled through the portal. And with one more tug, Cyan's hands slipped and she was dragged away into what she would find was: Avalon. * She cried and cried, smacking her hand against her burning forehead, causing the heat to grow hotter. Cyan grew angry at the thoughts that crossed her mind for she knew they spouted lies. Poor thing, thought Zethan, watching her cry. It gave him glee. "Have you had enough, black rabbit?" He sneered. "Poor black rabbit...." He chuckled. "...she's blocked from remembering what would destroy her. Not even I could save you after that." He smiled. "Yes, poor black rabbit. If you can't handle this, I suppose I'll have to drag you through the rest. Because there is no way, no goddamn way that I'll rest until you've seen every terror, curse, and tragedy you've inflicted upon this beautiful world I call home."
