He found them as a baby alone in the forest and from that moment on they were each other's family, each other's home. - - - - - Years later when Grim sneaks into NRC to become a student a new chapter to their stories opens up. Living in the Ramshackle building, trying to find a way for Grim to become a student Yuu learns comes closer to finding out the truth of the smoke and ink that follows them while making friends. Over the course of their stay at Ramshackle the first years come to learn about Grim and Yuu. Helping to raise Yuu, get Grim into the school, and keep their secrets is a lot of work for a bunch of first years and the upperclassmen are getting suspicious. Will the first years be able to keep their secrets? Why can Yuu see things that others can't? Will they be able to find out the truth before it is too late?
