He travels all around Japan to compete in different competitions with his group of friends. But, little does he know, a curious girl who lives in the deep sea has been following him around. She wants Katsuki to acknowledge her, but she doesn't know how to get his attention without frightening him.

Anyone else would jump at the chance to be forced into a vacation-sun, sand, and a break from the grind. But Shadow's not like everyone else. Rouge had planned a perfect week by the beach, drinks in hand and the sun on their backs, but all Shadow wants is to get back to his routine. The days drag on, and he can't wait for it to be over. That is, until a certain blue hedgehog shows up, throwing everything off course and making Shadow's boring trip a whole lot more complicated. - AKA: Surfer AU, where Rouge manages to drag Shadow on her trip and they meet Sonic, a local surfing children coach, who's in a toxic relationship with jet. Shadow's simple presence slowly makes Sonic realize his situation and maybe that he finally deserves better.
