There's something that sweeps me away when I go to the beach. The waves, reminding me of my past, almost washing away my future. Everything about that particular beach reminds me of everything I couldn't have but wanted. Like the ocean, it's strange that you can stare directly at something and not know what it's components are. Even if you engulf yourself in that thing and become one with it, you know nothing. I want to know everything, but I'm blind. I'll never know. Even if I'm given my happy ending. Even if I'm not.
