Surpriseending Stories

The Mysteries of Harris Burdick According to the introduction the author was given 14 illustrations with titles and subtitles for 14 children's books. Mr. Burdick said he would return with the rest of the stories the next day, but never returned. Now it is a published book of the illustrations; and readers are encouraged to write their own stories. Here is my first story from the story.

Ramon planned a romantic surprise in the place where he used to play as a kid-an abandoned house tucked away from the world. But as the night stretches on, something feels off. Between the candles, the wine, and an unexpected kiss, Emily's curfew might be the least of their worries. "Curfew" is a suspenseful short story about young love, secrets, and the quiet moments that leave us wondering what really happened when the night ends.

He had just passed her outside moments ago. A scream escapes him before he blacks out. When he wakes up, the truth is revealed in an unexpected twist.

The poem is written in a dialectic tone. It takes you through chance events and every line in the poem brings out a new surprise. It describes a failed love story and illustrates the powers behind the mishap. And eventually in the end, a hope awaits!
