The government had been experimenting with a serum to cure some kind of disease for weeks. I never really thought that much about it because I'm a teenager, I don't get involved with anything to do with the government. But I definitely noticed when they locked down the nation and announced the zombie apocalypse had started. The government had been the first to go, then National Guard. Now even though it's only been 2 and a half weeks since the country was shut down, all that's left are the normal people. I mean the people like me, no government officials, no president, no army.
