A seventeen year old named Zahra Foster thought the year would be great, after all it always seems like that after new years, you get a new start. But growing up with five older brothers and a dad who still have that inner child in him you don't really expect much to change. All your hoping for is to find the house in a decent state, which doesn't happen often when they're around. How does this girl with an attitude handle all these boys. More importantly how does she handle not having them around anymore, being the youngest of the house while four of them attend university and the youngest brother setting off to join them in a year's time can be a depressing thought. And when you have so many traditions and habits you might lose more than yourself when changing one. This is an extremely rough book to read. "Today was like any other Monday. It’s been like this for almost a year. Family and friends and well pretty much the whole town that knew us would come to Tecate,-a Mexican restaurant, where they had all different kind of chicken wings. I loved Mondays for this reason. After i became home schooled in 2011 and went (and still do) to A B Tech College in 2012, i wanted to see my old friends from school for atleast a couple of hours and be able to enjoy eating and chatting. I never thought that Monday would turn into the day i would hate the most.........." 2 years before the virus hit. the governments of all over the worlds came together and met with the united nations. What was the meeting about? To make walls that would cover up towns across the world. It seemed the government knew this day would come. and the day finally arrived! No one can stop it. but there is a way to keep the dead away from the living..... The walls. as people fight for their lifes, while no one thinks things could get worse.... It makes a sharp turn to worse then a horror movie.....

One terrible year, a horrible Virus swept threw the world, effecting everyone over the age of 14. As people fell sick with the virus, their brains rotted, their skin erupted with boils and rashes, and their flesh weakens. Once they have the virus, they are not human. Their is something about it that changes the way the victims think. Because the children (14 years old and over) aren't effected, their flesh is pure. Sick, Desperate and crazy the Adults eat their children alive. But as many children die many children escape from the Sickos Grasps and run. As kids find each other, they form groups. they gather weapons, swords, bows, daggers, axes anything they can get their hands on. Parentless, they fight against Sickos and sometimes against their selfs

We travel through Adelaide City to the outskirts and onto the long stretch of the ocean road. Full of laughs, eating and singing loudly and dreaming up and looking up surfers paradise spots along the road. We finally come across our first surfing cove, we pull up at the top of a cliff. We slide out of the car and stretch our legs after the hours of driving. We walk over to the steep steps cut into the rock. This is how 3 besties expected there end of high school trip to happen but ...... Stranded in the red dust deserts of Central Australia.
