This story is inspired by End of the world by @-sebby stan but it's not copied. I highly recommend her book though it's one of my favourite books on Wattpad. Anyways onto the story also this is a Zonah Story about a Zombie apocalypse or as Zach would say Zombly Acopalipse (Sorry thought that was funny).

Isabelle Waverly has always loved the ocean, and that is a fact. The ocean is her lifeline and she has always clung to her lifeline like a addict clinging to an addiction. The seventeen year old ate, slept, and loved everything to do with the sea, never a day passed where she didn't visit or swim in the thing she loved most. However, the things we love most, can also be the things that destroy us the most. And in some unfortunate cases, the things that should always offer comfort to us in an embrace of serenity, doesn't always offer a feeling of tranquil when in a moment of mistake. And during a unpredictable jet ski race with her family, Isabelle learns just how much this is true. Nearly drowning during this (supposed to be) fun outing with her family at a local beach access on her jet ski, was nearly her death sentence. And since the feeling of water in her lungs choked her into oblivion, where all she could feel was the desperate need to rid her lungs of the salty water and breathe in the unexplainably wonderful feeling of oxygen, she has become terrified of the place she onced loved. Since then, she hasn't looked or walked near the ocean even once. She finds herself plagued with nightmares of her attempted death by the ocean soon after her horrific accident, and on a whim, tags along with her cousin to church in a need for a emotional and mental relief. She learns a lot of new things about Jesus Christ and his glory, along with a certain christian boy who has the desire to show her his appreciation for the holy spirit and guide her to become one of God's loving children. After a long period of time, she realizes that there is more to life than the sea and she learns to overcome her fear of it. Her love for the sea is fine in nature, as long as other things come first. She learns that the love for God, family, and the sea, are the only things that really matter to her in this materialistic world. Started : April 16, 2024 This story is an original.
