Giyuu Tomioka does not speak much about the past. He carries it instead. After fire takes his parents and a demon takes his sister, Giyuu is forced to grow up learning how to endure in silence. He moves from place to place, living under choices made to protect him, shaped by lessons meant to keep him alive rather than happy. Survival becomes routine. Guilt becomes something he accepts without question. As the years pass, Giyuu continues forward-into training, into battles, and into moments that test whether living was ever something he deserved. Along the way, he meets people who leave lasting marks on him, including Sabito, whose strength and belief stand in contrast to Giyuu's quiet doubt. Loss, responsibility, and memory follow him at every stage, shaping the way he fights, the way he speaks, and the distance he keeps from others.

At just 18, Alexia battles the haunting guilt of her past-a burden she carries alone, unwilling to burden others with her pain. Rather than seeking help, she suppresses her emotions, masking the turmoil within. Yet deep down, a fierce determination to redeem herself ignites a spark of hope. In a bold move, she joins an elite military faction tasked with defending humanity against a terrifying onslaught of monsters. As she dons the uniform and steps onto the battlefield, Alexia realizes with a mix of dread and resolve that she's been handed the same mission that once eluded her: to protect those around her. Unbeknownst to her, this journey will test her limits, force her to confront her past, and ultimately reveal the depths of her strength. Cover art by: kryst_art on Instagram

An exploration of historical fiction. Set in 1980s Russia, a man recounts his time in the gulag and the events that followed. No AI use, although I fear it's very obvious given the oscillating nature of the narrator's voice.

How many deaths must a soul endure before it becomes whole? A Life by a Thousand Death is a confession made out loud. Not to be forgiven. Not to be saved. To be witnessed. It moves the way memory moves when it is honest, recursive, unfinished, and allergic to clean timelines. What I call the past is not behind me. It is in my throat. It is in my sleep. It is in the way my body prepares for loss before anything has happened. I was called a miracle before I was old enough to understand what that word demands. Later, I was treated like a burden, as if the miracle had expired and only the cost remained. My family did not pass down stories. It passed down rules. Some were spoken. Most were enforced through silence. A person learns quickly what cannot be named without consequences. A person learns to live with gaps, and to call them normal. Each chapter is a record of what had to be cut away to keep going. A belief. A name. A future. Sometimes innocence. Sometimes tenderness. Sometimes it's the simple ability to ask for what I needed without feeling guilty for having needs at all. These are deaths of the soul. Some are quiet enough to hide inside a regular day. Some are loud enough to rearrange the whole house. If you are looking for redemption, you will not find it here. This is not a story about healing. It is a ritual for the in-between. For the ones who kept living when living stopped feeling holy. For the ones who learned that survival is not always a victory, sometimes it is just a continuation. What survives is not hope. Not the kind people sell. What survives is the body still moving. Jaw locked. Lungs dragging air. Steps taken without consent. A life carried forward on discipline, stubbornness, and the strange refusal to disappear. Unholy. Unforgiven. Alive.

He stopped in his tracks. Something was approaching. He pressed himself against the Kakariko cliffs nearest the graveside, not moving until long after the steps were gone. A holy light shone from within the graveyard, and a young woman laid sobbing in its stones. When his eyes met her, he could have sworn she'd taken his life for her littlest. ~~ He stood on the edge, glancing towards the castle his father had once been honored at. He looked just like him. He didn't think he'd ever be able to return to his birthplace. But that was fine. Mom probably can't either. ~~ It's been many years now. Everyone who was there is no longer here. It's impossible to move on, but there isn't even a fragment of the past left. She's been told never to head there, but she saddles her horse. ~~ The Calamity took thousands of lives, but it left behind thousands of others. A sister, a wife, a best friend, a son. They move away from each other, and some move from the places they were, all for closure and to remember without the pain. Over one hundred years does history fade to legend, but the faithful continue to tell the legends, not just of one hundred years ago, but of all the stories from it.

This is my first time trying to publish/post a piece of writing. Im just looking to create a story for you all which you can enjoy. Stay safe and sound. Chapters should be pretty regular, I doubt I will start a schedule, it will be more that the chapters will release whenever they release. I have grand ideas for 3 books (if i can manage) and an outline so bear with me!!!! "For centuries, he has wandered the stars, cursed with immortality and haunted by the destruction of his homeworld. When he lands on a medieval planet he is drawn into a desperate war against the Unseen- invaders born of an ancient, forgotten power. He only has some time to prepare. He rises as a knight in the Emperor's court and is given the name Elereth. The deeper he delves into the war, the more he realizes the true power of the Unseen. The creations of those who destroyed his home threaten now to claim his new home. The fate of this new world hangs by a thread, he must confront his past and decide: will he fight to save this world, or flee again and let it burn?"

Not everything is an explosion. Sometimes things start with the chirping of the birds and frost on the ground lending that lingering smell of spring morning and the memory of a quiet night. One moment Jaemin's mind is a solace of music he liked, books he enjoyed reading, food he wanted to eat, and plans for the days ahead. Now, there was something else there; a voice he had never heard before. It was quiet, almost a whisper. It sounded a lot like himself if he focused on it hard enough. It was telling him that had he just paid more attention to Chenle, he would have been able to help. Maybe if Jaemin had said something back when he'd first noticed Chenle out of breath on the stairs leaving practice then he wouldn't have a time bomb strapped to his back. -- Chenle is diagnosed with cancer, and Jaemin is falling apart. In the end, both of them are dying. Jaemin cries out for help in the only way he knows how; pretending everything is okay and praying to whatever God exists that someone hears him scream while no one's home.
