Nachdem Prinz Kaspian in den Wald floh um den Tod durch seinen Onkel zu entkommen wird ihm zuerst nicht bewusst das er mit seinen Ruf durch das magische Zauberhorn der vergangenen Hochkönigin, nicht nur die Herrscher der vergangenen Zeit zurück geholt hat, sondern auch Narnias alte Legende aus einer 1000 jährigen Seklusion befreit hat. Als sie sich ihm anschließt kommen beiden die wenigen Tage wie eine Ewigkeit vor in der sie sich kennen, doch ist während einer solchen Schlacht Zeit für Gefühle. Der Auftakt meiner Kaspian Triologie. Charaktere gehören bis auf Valdren und Aslani dem Autor C.S.Lewis an dem ich wirklich dankbar dafür bin so eine schöne Geschichte geschrieben zu haben. Band 1 und 3 ist sehr Filmorientiert, Band 2 ist von mir erdacht mit Narnias Charakteren. Dennoch würde ich Band 1 lesen um Band 2 zu verstehen. When Alice Kane's father joined the army he went off to war and she was sent to live in the English countryside with her aunt and a man named Professor Diggory. Alice very much liked living with the Professor but her quiet existence was shattered by the news that four more children would be arriving. Alice being an unusually bright child didn't get along with other children and so she dreaded the Pevensies arrival. However upon giving them a tour of the Professor's house the youngest Lucy claims to go to another world and takes Alice and the others as well.

Her black cloak flapped lightly in the wind as she watched the faun. His red scarf streamed behind him as he dragged the child back to the lamppost. She heard him hiss something about some of the trees being on her side and frowned. The trees almost never took sides. The child ran back into her world, a huge smile across her face. "I know you are there, Rowan," the faun sighed, looking in her direction. "I know you saw." Rowan moved into the light. "Then you also know I'll have to report you -- to both of them." Rowan came from another world into Narnia and was placed in a position of extreme danger. She fell into the hands of the White Witch when she entered the land and since then she has been training for one thing: to fight Aslan. But Aslan found her and has guided her along a rocky path of deception. She is his spy and a loyal friend to the Lion. When the Pevensies step into Narnia, however, she finds that her loyalties are torn. Will the ice in her heart consume her? Will she be able face what she had done? And when the children of the prophesy realize who she really is, will they regard her as a child of Aslan, or the Witch's daughter?

In Narnia, almost 1,300 years have passed after the Amara and the Pevensie siblings left, Caspian, a Telmarine prince, is awoken by his mentor Doctor Cornelius, who informs him that his aunt has just given birth to a son and that his life is now in grave danger. Amara must learn Caspian and that he is a friend and not a foe. Amara doesn't trust easily nor does she want to. Edmund must help her, but Jadis is not finish with Edmund nor her daughter. Edmund soon finds his self having a crush on his best friend, Amara.
