Vandana Nair was gruelling through her third year of hotel management. What does she finally want to be? She was clueless herself. Too much of unnecessary calculations. Things that a computer should be doing. B.Sc. Microbiology? Not any better. BBM (Bachelor of Business Management)? It reeks of Finance. Stay away! BA Journalism? Nope. Don't want to be a journalist. BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management)? Hang on. Now, that looks interesting. And no maths. Learning to be a professional cook should be great as well. Into her second year, she figured out that horrible truth: there was no escaping from Maths. It was everywhere. Even in goddamned hell. It was here too rearing up its ugly hood in the name of 'Accounting & Finance'. Should have thought about it before. You can't be a manager or a hotel baron without knowing the numbers. Late realization and... dramatic sigh... trapped for good. Now what? Somehow plough through to the fourth and final year? Or just dropout and start over again? Wait and watch. Anyhow, one thing was guaranteed. With so many fun (and ahem, ahem, gorgeous) people around, the guilt of her blunder was less excruciating.
