Takes place within fallentale's Titan Squad AU (published on AO3). In the age of the dinosaurs, Abornazine was an average young adult Rhedosaurus who had everything he could ever wanted. But after a horrifying and disastrous event separates him from his would-be family, he embarks on a desperate attempt to reunite with them. Little does he know, though, that the entire trajectory of his existence will change forever.

November 14, 2018. The 29-year-old curious, smart and sometimes clumsy scientist, Stiles Stilinski, has been looking at ice caps and glaciers for a number of years now. He also hopes that through this, he will discover something incredible, perhaps a way to stop global warming. However, Stiles never expected in his scientific travels that he would discover a large block of ice near Alaska, containing someone inside. Being the curious person that he is, Stiles of course had to take this finding back to New York, where his laboratory/work space was, showing off his finding to his colleagues and boss. His boss allowed him to investigate the block of ice to see how long the man had been frozen for, and that is exactly what Stiles does. After this, he manages to thaw out and melt the ice surrounding the man that Stiles assumed to be dead, but was proven wrong, much to Stiles' shock. He can't believe it. Elle lives in the year 2226 where the government decides on a plan that will change the lives of everyone. With a little over 15 billion people living on Earth, the planet is dying, so the government creates a test to discover citizen's intelligence. If they don't pass the test, they are put into suspended animation while the most intelligent humans solve all of the pressing world problems. Only when Earth can sustain that amount of life will the general population be awoken.Elle begins to have dreams, that are accurate depictions of the future. In one of these dreams she meets Ryder and she learns that the government isn't to be trusted. Regardless, Elle will be tested. Is she intelligent or ignorant?

In which America is a dead civilization. And in which knowing a dead language eventually leads to a heartwarming moral.
