A story about my Star Trek/Thor: The Dark World original character, Elysia, who is part of a Q-Human hybrid race called the Protectors. Each of them is born to protect and guide a certain person for as long as they live, and Elysia was born to protect someone older than the universe itself: Malekith, leader of the Dark Elves.

Darkness is falling. And it has pulled Freya Ericsson out of her everyday college life and into the realm of the Norse Gods. During their hunt for what the Dark Elves call The Amethyst, Malekith decides to take Freya along with them for reasons only he knows. They leave earth, and continue their search on Asgard. Saved by none other than Loki, the God of Mischief himself (but only because he was forced to), this pit stop leads to Freya waking up, battered and bruised in the healing wing, with a worried Thor staring at her. As she journeys through the world she thought was a myth, Freya learns things she never thought she would...things about herself, things about her family. An angry, mischievous God wants her dead, or does he? She really has no idea. You first visited Asgard many years ago and your hand was promised to to one of Odin's heirs by your father, unbeknownst to you. This all takes place after the first Avenger's movie.

Before Jane comes to Asgard, you and Loki are living happily in the golden city. You and he fight together in the arenas, being the most powerful pair in the land. However, Odin forbids you to use your magic anywhere but outside of Asgard or in the arenas. So when Malekith, the king of the Dark Elves, storms into Asgard looking for the Ether, you are all but powerless as he takes you captive back to Svartalfheim; because of this, Loki is enraged and declares war on Malekith. Will the Dark King return you to Asgard unharmed, or at least, alive? Or will Loki have to make the biggest sacrifice in his years to bring you back home?

(Doctor Who x Avengers crossover) However, despite all the happiness and giggles that seemed to surround him, there was something quite repelling about this man... Loki couldn't tell if it was his aura of loneliness or his hideous periwinkle scarf, and at the moment, he didn't really care. This guy was the key to escape and that was all that mattered.
