Queen Moon and King River's Eldest daughter Solstice Butterfly was a student at St. Olga's school for wayward princesses. She was always a rebel who never did what she was told. She was regularly referred to as the "bad influence". So when someone else finnaly gets referred to as the bad influence you could say that she was interested. Star Butterfly had been begging her parents for months to let her elder sister out of "princess jail". But when it benefits the Kingdom of Mewni, they finnaly cave. After bringing Solstice home they decided they needed a new way for her to live. So they brought her to earth.

Marco Diaz is tired of all the bullies and decides to give up. Just before he's about to end it all for himself, he meets someone that'll change everything for him. In a good way. He discovers a secret about his new "friend" and everything changes once again, not just for him this time, but for Star Butterfly as well. Star and Marco are best friends for 2 years now and always spend time together but all of that stop when Marco started dating Jackie. Marco always spend time with her while Star was left behind. This makes Star feel sad and jealous because Star have been developing feelings for him, so she decided to start hang out with someone else to clear her mind. She return to Mewni secretly but then Toffee return and a war started. Will Star manage to protect her Kingdom and find a way to tell Marco her feelings?
