Event Synopsis - Roots of the Web (Animal Man & Tarzan & The Green) Crossover The Anansiverse collides with the primal heartbeat of nature when The Green fractures. Poison Ivy, overtaken by the Emerald Blight, summons an army of plant-born villains to purge humanity. From the Congo to Gotham, the balance of life tilts toward extinction. Drawn out of time by the Web of Stories, Animal Man joins forces with Tarzan, Congorilla, and a new child of the Green, Shrubling, in a desperate struggle to heal Ivy and stop the rise of the Verdant Titan. With Mosi Carter watching from beyond, the heroes learn that every root-like every story-can either rot or be rewoven in the greatness.

I watched Wes Craven's Swamp Thing movie and I just felt I had to write this story. It's my first try at climate fiction but I still tried to keep it a very personal story. Hope you enjoy it!
