So here it is: Triad City AU is a Monkie Kid alternate universe that takes place in a mafia-style timeline. Our main protagonist, Mk, lives in a closed off sort of dystopian city called Metropolis. Years ago, the newest leader decreed that no one will be allowed in or out of Metropolis until all mafia, triads, yakuza, gangs, etc. had been taken care of. She erected walls around Metropolis because of the growing population of mafia groups in the city. Which gave the city many nicknames, such as Mafia city, Yakuza city, and of course Triad City. But the people of Metropolis have grown suspicious over the years. Are the increasing mafia groups the bad people, or is the new leader part of some corrupt government? Find out by reading the Triad City AU. (This won't contain any confirmed ships, but you are all perfectly free to ship characters in the comments. The reason it's like this is only so my story will reach a broader audience in the fandom.)
