Her dream had always been to attend a Ghost concert. She'd been following the band for years, never missing a new album drop or a new music video. Her phone background was a picture of Swiss for fucks sake. But she'd always just barely missed their concerts. As if the universe was against her ever seeing the band in person- there was always something that came up, forcing her to cancel her plans. When the stars finally align, and she's finally standing in the front row, mere feet from Papa Emeritus IV himself, she can't help but stare in wonder. So enraptured by this universal impossibility before her, she misses a certain Nameless Ghoul, who just can't seem to keep his eyes off of her. "Her soul shines so bright, so full of life- my little sunshine."

New order will soon be in place. For years religious leaders have warned of this day to come. The day when the sky would turn red, the earth to crack exposing the lake of fire all of the chaos unfolding to the eerie sound of the trumpets in the sky. Finally Papa Emeritus III can bring this day forward but bringing in the new world won't come as easy as he thinks.

The story of Vivian Nesbitt, a sharp-witted and guarded photographer who tours with the established rock band Royal Republic. Amidst the complex logistics of music touring, Vivian has to navigate her own unresolved traumas that resurface due to threats linked to her past. Her emotional struggles are paralleled by her simmering, slow-burn romance with Adam Grahn, the band's flirtatious singer, whose own fears of vulnerability mask his deep-seated desire for connection. The pair grapple with their feelings within the intimate yet professional confines of tour life, which is further complicated by the manipulative machinations of Vivian's ex boyfriend, a figure with his own hidden agenda. As they travel through various cities, performing in venues that transform from hollow spaces to realms of electric energy, each character must confront their personal demons while upholding the lively culture and intense camaraderie of their road family.
