Simon Da Vinci, a nerd and loner, has a huge crush on one of the most popular girls in school, Marissa Jonaganne. Unfortunately, his lack of confidence and low self-esteem stop him from making the first move. That is, until he meets Marissa's best friend, Sam, a sporty and outgoing girl who surprisingly agrees to help him win Marissa's heart... after threatening to blackmail him over his "stalker-vibe" habit of taking photos of Marissa. But what Simon doesn't know is that Sam likes him. Will Sam truly sacrifice her feelings for Simon just to help him be with Marissa? Or will she fight for her own happiness instead?
